Stay fit

Keep exercising and stay fit

This year's Race for Life events might be over, but don't put all that training to waste. Keep exercising and stay fit throughout the year.

Keeping fit doesn't have to be hard or time consuming and just 30 minutes of moderate activity a day, five days a week can have a positive effect on your health.

It doesn't have to cost you money or too much time either. Moderate activity includes anything that leaves you warm and slightly out of breath, such as brisk walking, gardening, dancing or housework.

Take a look at our top tips to keep on moving.

Personal training sessions on your iPod

Lucy Wyndham-Read, celebrity women's fitness expert and founder of LWR Fitness, has developed two workout albums, especially for Race for Life.

These are still available to download, so why not remember the amazing time you had at Race for Life by working out to one of Lucy's albums.

Lucy gives you the personal trainer experience with a six-week plan of instructions, motivation and plenty of training tips all set to upbeat music tracks.

Each week has a different challenge so you'll never get bored. The workouts start with 12 minutes training sessions in week one and slowly build up to 25 minute training sessions by the end of the six weeks.

The workout albums for beginner walkers and beginner runners are available for download from iTunes for £4.49.
