I race for Olatanwa Onile-Ere she passed away in December 2007. She fought it bravely for her daughter for herself and for us; she suffered but always smiled when she could. Her courage makes us all proud.

Everyone who takes part in Race for Life does so for a reason. That’s why so many women choose to wear back signs at their Race for Life event to either remember a loved one lost to cancer, or to celebrate survival.
Click on the message board above to zoom in and read a selection of the many messages left by other women who have shared their own personal experiences.
You can also leave your own message on our virtual back sign board about who or what inspired you to take part.
